Hypado ("Hypado", "we", "us") is an SEO and AI-visibility platform operated from the United Kingdom. This policy applies to the Hypado website at hypado.com and the Hypado application. If you have questions about this policy or your data, contact us at [email protected].
We collect the following categories of data:
When you connect your Google account, Hypado requests read-only access to two scopes:
webmasters.readonly) — to read your search performance data: clicks, impressions, average position, queries and the pages they relate to.analytics.readonly) — to read your website traffic and engagement metrics. We use this data solely to display your own search and analytics performance inside Hypado and to power the reports and recommendations you ask for. Access is read-only: Hypado cannot modify or delete anything in your Google account. You can revoke Hypado's access at any time from your Google Account permissions page or by disconnecting the integration in Hypado.
Limited Use commitment. Hypado's use of information received from Google APIs adheres to the Google API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements. We do not sell Google user data, we do not use it for advertising, and we do not transfer it to others except as needed to provide or improve the features you use, to comply with law, or as part of a merger or acquisition.
When you connect a Facebook account, Facebook Page or Instagram professional account, Hypado may request access to the permissions needed for the features you choose. These may include instagram_basic, instagram_manage_insights, pages_read_engagement and pages_show_list. We use this access to identify the connected professional account, read public professional Instagram profiles and recent media through Business Discovery, and display profile and media details such as follower and media counts, captions, timestamps, media URLs, permalinks and engagement counts.
Hypado does not publish to Facebook or Instagram through this connection and does not manage ads. We do not sell Meta user data or use it for advertising. Access credentials are encrypted and limited to providing the connected features. You can remove Hypado from Facebook's Apps and Websites settings at any time. For instructions and deletion requests, see our User Data Deletion page.
Hypado lets you connect your own AI account (such as ChatGPT or Claude) to turn your data into plain-English answers. When you use these features, the relevant data is sent to the AI provider you connected so it can generate a response. We do not use your Google user data, or any data you connect, to train AI models, and we never sell it.
Your data is stored on secured servers and protected with encryption in transit (HTTPS/TLS) and access controls that limit who can see it. We retain your data for as long as your account is active. If you disconnect a Google integration, we delete the associated Google user data within 30 days; if you close your account, we delete your account data within 30 days, except where we are required to keep certain records to comply with legal obligations.
We do not sell your personal information. We share data only with service providers who help us run Hypado (such as hosting, analytics-data and payment providers) under contracts that require them to protect it, with the AI provider you choose to connect, or where required by law.
Depending on where you live, you may have the right to access, correct, export or delete your personal data, and to object to or restrict certain processing. To exercise any of these rights, email [email protected] and we will respond within the timeframe required by applicable law.
We use essential cookies to keep you signed in and to operate the service, and limited analytics cookies to understand how the site is used. You can control cookies through your browser settings.
We may update this policy from time to time. When we make material changes, we will update the date at the top of this page and, where appropriate, notify you.
