User Data Deletion

How to disconnect Facebook and Instagram from Hypado and ask us to delete data associated with your Meta connection.

Last updated: 10 September 2026

Remove Hypado from Facebook

  1. Sign in to Facebook and open Settings & privacy, then Settings.
  2. Open Apps and websites.
  3. Find Hypado, select Remove, and follow Facebook’s confirmation steps.

Removing Hypado stops future access through that Meta connection. It does not delete content from your Facebook Page or Instagram account.

Request deletion from Hypado

Email [email protected] from the email address associated with your Hypado account. Use the subject Meta data deletion request and include the name of the connected Facebook Page or Instagram professional account so we can identify the correct connection.

We may ask for reasonable verification before deleting account-linked data. Once verified, we will delete the Meta access token and Meta account data stored by Hypado within 30 days, except records we must retain for security, fraud prevention, or legal obligations. Revoking Hypado in Facebook first will immediately prevent further API access.

What is deleted

The deletion covers Meta access credentials and stored information imported through the connection, such as Facebook Page and Instagram professional-account identifiers, profile details, media details, captions, engagement counts, and related connection records. Deleting Meta-connected data does not automatically delete your entire Hypado account, unrelated projects, reports, or data from other connected services.

Delete your entire Hypado account

To request deletion of your complete Hypado account and its associated data, email [email protected] with the subject Hypado account deletion request. We will confirm the request and complete deletion within 30 days, subject to any records we are legally required to retain.
